We at weinthemix.net feel is our duty to tell the public & specifically party goers, where the Mix is going to be. Well we have discovered that every THURSDAY NIGHT it goes down @ SQUADZ bar & lounge. 
The young veterans SHOTTA CORREY & DJ YOUNG CHOW teamed up & presented this every Thursday MIX to the people. Mind you, SQUADZ is an elegant spot. Even though its set up like a lounge, it is spacious enough to host a nice crowd & still have the feel of a bar. They serve Food as well, so you can get your party on and enjoy an appetizer at the same time. We wanted to point that out to the party goers because its not necessarily a club. So this is not the place for Getting Crunk & Throwing Bows or Passa Passa Style Competition Ina Di Miggle of the Dance Floor, You Zimmee!
Nevertheless, every time the staff at weinthemix was in SQUADZ, located on Utica Ave bet. Ave K & L , Brooklyn, NY, it has been jumping. Well we should know that whenever SHOTTA CORREY promotes a party its going to have a turn out & it seems DJ YOUNG CHOW has a devoted crowd, specifically beautiful classy young ladies.
And that ain't the best part of the night, Ladies they really pay your phone bill. I repeat Ladies "CORREY & CHOW pays your phone bill for you", weather you win a raffle or its your birthday. Fellas, maybe that's why it be mad joints & brizzles in there!
To conclude, this is the MIX. The only thing i can report that's kinda disturbing is it cost $7 for a Corona. So you know mixed drinks is $15 & better. So my ninjas if you ain't got chicken or your check don't cash till Friday, stay home. Oh and regardless of what the flyer says, most of the time its Free of Charge for everyone to get in, unless it gets crazy or the security squad S.W.A.T want to BLOW PEOPLE HIGH. Most of the time it is popping!

Born & Raised in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. DJ BOOF was into music from early child hood. As a kid he composed music & played instruments including the trumpet & qua drum. Till this day he is part of a professional marching Band, never letting go his first love in music.
DJ'ing consistently for over 5 years his momentum has soared in the past 2 years, gaining nation wide respect. The New York native has been really emerging as an elite DJ in the New York City area & its surrounding cities. Taking similar roads to success like well known prominent DJ's from the area, such as DJ Funk Master Flex, DJ Mister Cee & DJ Clue.
BOOF has easily been recognized as one of the best DJ's in "The City" referring to the well known New York City club scene. Mind you, He is no stranger to other markets, showcasing his talent on the road in Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles & Howard Homecoming in Washington DC.
DJ BOOF mentioned he broke records for major artist such as Red Cafe, Maino & Lil Kim and had a hand in Launching up & comers careers like Nicki Minaj. What is special about DJ BOOF a.k.a The Shutdown, the moniker he got for really "Shutting down parties", is that he's down to earth, always willing to break new talent & listen to artist on the rise.
DJ BOOF is definitely in the front as the DJ for this new generation of party goers. His Following can be compared to Funk Master Flex at the Tunnel every Sunday night, back in the day.
It's like these new generation of N.Y.C party goers has proclaimed him the champion of all clubs. His young & charismatic personality on the mic separates him from others. It's like wherever BOOF playing, the party is going to be popping. When I say he has fans, He Has Fans. DJ BOOF is basically "IN THE MIX" himself. with New endeavors & big offers on the table, notably a silent bidding war with POWER 105.1 & HOT 97, the sky is the limit.
